Ogri's tenth week...
Our hound was ten (weeks) on Friday... I had high expectations of him being able to read, play the cello and discuss Keynesian economic theories with me. How wrong I was to judge Dogdom on Brian from the Family Guy.
Ogri wakes up 2 to 3 times per night, and needs out (less pleasant as the nights cool).
When the stick/bear/squeaky toy is thrown he does a huge leap forward, gallops off for two feet, stops, and snuffles his way by nose power to the target. Could well have a half blind retriever....
He comes to work, snuffles around the shop, gets in the truck, and sleeps at most jobsites. He was rather amazed when he saw a man get out of a huge dozer. How could a human get away from such a large yellow beast, that made so much noise?
All in all, it is well worth the sleepless nights, as the little hound is comical to watch, and is very docile and laid back. Here's hoping that he stays like that. Keep posted kiddies for more dog based news.
